2 months ago we’ve had the pleasure to giveΒ an interview about our Ghost Production business for the upcoming book ‘Dutch DJs’ by Anthony Donner.Β We’ve had a little chat about what kind of work we do on a daily business, what the profession of ‘Ghost Producer’ is exactly, how it can help artists grow in their careers and what’s needed for an artist to push through in the music business of today. It turned out to be a really interesting interview, with some great tips for the upcoming DJs and producers.
The book is looking to be a huge success, as it completely focuses on the profession of DJ/Producer. Something that has never been done before with a project of this size.
It contains interviews with over 200 of the biggest Dutch DJs (such as Ben Liebrand, Armin van Buuren, Don Diablo, Fedde le Grand, Ferry Corsten, Headhunterz, Laidback Luke, Oliver Heldens, Showtek, Tiesto, and many more), and a hundred more interviews with the most relevant ‘industry’ people. A must-read for anyone wanting to learn more about the music industry.
Yesterday was the book presentation, finally showing the book in it’s final form, and it’s looking awesome. With performances by Tiesto’s former producerΒ Dennis Waakop Reijers, who wrote the theme song for the book, and one of the founders of the Dutch DJ scene, Ben Liebrand, it was a very cool launch party.
